Events and Fundraisers
FUNDRAISING REQUIREMENT
Each player is responsible for $200 worth of fundraising. (If you have more than 2 registered players the fundraising requirement is waived for all but the first 2 skaters.)
This requirement can be met in one of two ways:
1-Through the purchase of $200 worth of raffle tickets (per player), which the player can then sell for $5 each towards a cash raffle. The raffle drawing will be held in January 2011 during our home tournament. Tickets may be picked up at registration or on the first day of skating. If you are mailing in your registration, you MUST include payment for your raffle tickets!!
2-By working 20 hours (per player) at our concession stand. You must be 16 years of age or older to work in the stand. If you choose this option you must provide us with a post-dated check (dated May 1, 2011) for $200 per player, which will be returned to you if you complete your hours. If you work only a portion of your 20 hours, your hours will be prorated at $10/hour and you will be issued a partial repayment. If you fail to work any hours your check will be cashed after May 1, 2011. If you are mailing in your registration, you MUST include your postdated check!!
